Statement of Faith

 

• We believe the Bible is the inspired (God breathed) Word of God and the final authority in the affairs of man upon the earth.

• We believe in the Godhead: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  They are separate entities, yet they function as one.

• We believe man was created in the image of God; that sin entered through Adam, and that Jesus Christ died to redeem mankind.

• We believe the New Birth is necessary to all and with it comes the gift of eternal life to all who believe.

• We believe in water baptism by immersion as being an outward sign of an inward experience.  It is a point for us to use faith against the old sinful nature.

• We believe the infilling of the Holy Spirit is an experience subsequent to salvation and it is accompanied by the evidence of speaking in other tongues.  This experience empowers the believer to not only communicate with God, but to do the works of Jesus. We believe that we should be continually being filled with the Spirit to the point of being immersed or baptized in Him.

• We believe sanctification is definite; in that God has imputed His righteousness to man.

• We believe that divine healing is part of the atoning work of redemption. All benefits are appropriated by faith.

• We believe in the bodliy resurrection of the dead and the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

• We believe in partaking of the Lord's Supper as Jesus commanded us.  The Cup represents the blood shed for our forgiveness of sin; the Bread represents the body broken for our healing.

• We believe the lake of fire is a place of retribution reserved for Satan, his angels and all who die without Jesus.

• We believe in the laying of of hands to transmit power from one person to another for healing or for spiritual gifts.

• It is our belief that God is sovereign in that He has the abililty to do anything.  However, He has qualified His ability through self-imposed limitations.  In the completed work of redemption, God has made provision for all that pertains to life and godliness and such provision or blessings must be appropriated by faith through the authority of the believer.  Therefore, man is created as a free moral agent and is responsible for his destiny and the standard of life he chooses.

 

 

 

Mission Statement

 

We are the sons and daughters of God.  Anointed and appointed for this day and hour.  We are redeemed by the Blood of Jesus, Immersed in the Holy Spirit and called to bring forth the latter glory of God’s house.

 

We are His Image Ministries.  We are coming into the fullness of the measure of the stature of Christ.

 

As we move about in the earth, we destroy the works of the enemy, we release God’s provision to hurting people and we deliver people from darkness to light. 

 

We love as we are loved, we bring forth the greater works that Jesus said we would do and as He is so are we in this world. 

 

We are the solution for the problems in the world.  We are in HIM, of HIM, for HIM and through HIM we will change the world one person at a time.  We are: His Image Ministries!
